street corner, night, young man back facing / urine streaks wall / there is blood spattered / off-center to my step

slow violence, a window now open, a dangerous harvest, a return before —

9 mm barbs, 7 m copper wires, a 5 second pulse, / contractions, involuntary / the circuit complete
