Woo Dayoung

Woo Dayoung is an award-winning Korean writer. She received the World Literature Magazine’s New Writers Award in 2014 with her debut short story “Three” and was a finalist for the Hyundae Munhak Contemporary Literature Prize, one of the most coveted literary awards in Korea, in both 2019 and 2020. She was also a finalist for the Hankook Ilbo literature award in 2024. She has published a novel and three short story collections, and was recently published in a science fiction anthology, Beautiful Silicon World, alongside world-renowned science fiction writers, Cixin Liu and Taiyo Fuji.
