Anne Élaine Cliche is a professor in the Department of Literary Studies at the Université du Québec à Montréal. She has published six novels, including Le danseur de La Macaza (Prix J. I Segal 2022, finalist for the Académie des lettres du Québec’s Prix Ringuet), Jonas de mémoire and La pisseuse, as well as several essays on psychoanalysis (Freud and Lacan), the Bible and Judaism in relation to literature, including Tu ne te feras pas d'image: Duras, Sarraute, Guyotat.
