Other People’s Comfort Keeps Me Up at Night, a new book of poetry by The Offing poetry editor Morgan Parker, is now available to order from Switchback Books!
Her first full-length collection, Other People’s Comfort Keeps Me Up at Night was selected by Eileen Myles for the 2013 Gatewood Prize, Switchback’s annual competition for a first or second full-length collection of poetry by women. Myles describes Morgan’s writing with utter delight, proclaiming the collection contains “piles of masterpieces,” and that Morgan “writes history and pleasure & kitsch and abstraction then vanishes like a god in about 13 inches and I mean that is really cool.”
