Rachel Tam (she/her) is a Chinese-Canadian based in Providence, RI. She is currently working towards a BA in Gender and Sexuality Studies & Biology at Brown University. Rachel enjoys reading, dabbling in poetry, crocheting, and taking care of her houseplants.

Scallion Pancakes

Even lizards, starfish, and sea cucumbers
Can regrow their limbs,
Like the scallions did after my mother
Gave them a haircut before dinnertime.
