Piper Mavis
Piper Mavis is a Los Angeles based visual artist. Originally focused on lens-based media her practice has grown to include large site-specific installations as well as small sculptural objects as she explores themes of loss, nostalgia, memory and personal histories. She earned her BA from Bennington College in the United States and her MFA from the Slade School of Fine Art in the United Kingdom. Recently she participated in an Art/Science residency in the Arctic Circle. She has exhibited internationally. Her artwork can be viewed here.
