Pia Grandjean Odderskov

Following a career as medical secretary, Pia Grandjean Odderskov (b. 1963, Denmark) debuted in 2007 as novelist. She has written seven historical novels, two retro-mysteries, and one short story collection. Odderskov’s novels are built upon detailed geographic and historical research, along with deep psychological insight into complex characters. In addition to being a frequent lecturer, Odderskov is both chair of Litteratur Samvirke, an association of northern Jutland writers, as well as founder of Ordkraft, Northern Jutland’s first literary festival. She teaches creative writing classes for children and adults.
