Mohamed Salah (1983-...) Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. A visual artist whose multi disciplined practice pivots around social narrative and commentary.
Elisabeth Jaquette is a translator from the Arabic. Her translation of The Queue by Basma Abdel Aziz (Melville House, 2016) received a 2014 English PEN Translates Award, and her work has appeared in the Guardian, Words Without Borders, Asymptote, and other publications. She was also a judge for the 2016 PEN America Translation Prize.
