MaryBeth “MB” Barker is a writer, restoration ecologist, and prescribed fire practitioner based in Madison, Wisconsin. She received a Bachelor of Arts at UW-Madison in conservation biology, sociology, and environmental studies. She does most of her writing in her free time, and is otherwise reading fiction or hiking. MB enjoys writing within a wide span of genres, but centers her work around the natural world. Her work will be featured in the Wormfarm Institute’s “Imagine Vol. II” zine in Fall 2024.
