Mario Martz

Mario Martz was born in León, Nicaragua. He is the author of Viaje al reino de los tristes (CNE, 2010), winner of the National Prize from the Centro Nicaragüense de Escritores, & Los jóvenes no pueden volver a casa (Anamá ediciones, 2017). He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Texas at El Paso. Excerpts of his work have been published in periodicals such as The New York Times, Rara, Carátula, Cuadrivio, Álastor, among others.
