María José Giménez is a Venezuelan-Canadian poet, translator, and editor who has received fellowships from the NEA, BILTC, and the Katherine Bakeless Nason Endowment. Assistant Translation Editor of Anomaly and member of ALTA’s board of directors, María José is the translator of Tilting at Mountains (Edurne Pasaban), Red, Yellow, Green (Alejandro Saravia), and the chapbook As Though The Wound Had Heard (Mara Pastor).
