M.K. Foster's poetry won the 2013 Gulf Coast Poetry Prize, has been recognized with an Academy of American Poets Prize, and has appeared or is forthcoming in Gulf Coast; The Adroit Journal; Rattle; Sixth Finch; B O D Y; Nashville Review; Word Riot; Ninth Letter; and elsewhere. She holds an MFA from the University of Maryland, College Park and currently pursue a PhD in Renaissance Literature at the University of Alabama.
