Lynne Procope
Lynne Procope is a Cave Canem fellow and a former National Poetry Slam champion. She is co-author of the collaborative collection, Burning Down the House (Soft Skull). Her work has been featured in Drum Voices Review, The Inquisitive Eater Magazine, Poetry Slam: The Competitive Art of Performance Poetry, His Rib: Women’s Anthology, Bowery Women, The Last American Valentine, Word Warriors: 35 Women Leaders in the Spoken Word Revolution, the So Much Things to Say anthology from the Calabash Literary Festival and 2015's acclaimed Breakbeat Poets. Her poems have also been presented by Boston Review, Pluck Literary Journal, Affilia Journal of Women & Social Work, Storyscape, decomP, Quarter After Eight, The Taos Journal of International Poetry & Art, and Washington Square Review. She is a literary performance curator at National Sawdust, managing editor of Union Station Magazine and director of the louderARTS Project.
