Lily Poppen (she/her) is a voracious reader and an emerging writer. The concept of place is a recurring life and beloved writing motif—being born in China, raised in Iowa, working in Colorado, escaping to Germany, and attending college in Maine where she is the current acting Editor-in-Chief for The Foundationalist literary journal and double majoring in German and Art History. During quarantine, her place has been a wilting herb garden co-inhabited by a placid puppy with a penchant for dead cilantro.
