Katie Quach is a Chinese-Vietnamese writer living in Toronto. She was the winner of Bellingham Review’s 2023 Tobias Wolff Award in Fiction. Other work has appeared in Catapult, The Chestnut Review, The Hunger Mountain Review, and others. She is a 2025 finalist for The Adroit Journal’s Anthony Veasna So Scholars Program in Fiction and a 2024-25 recipient of a James Baldwin for the Arts Fellowship. Her work has been supported by Bread Loaf, Tin House, Community of Writers Conference, and the Napa Valley Writer’s Conference. Katie teaches creative writing through the nonprofit StoryPlanet. She holds a BA from Carleton College and an MFA in writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She is at work on her first novel.
