Karina Lickorish Quinn
Karina Lickorish Quinn is a Peruvian-British writer and teacher, pursuing her Ph.D. in creative writing at Queen Mary, University of London. Karina is also a sessional lecturer at the University of Reading. With a Peruvian mother and an English father, Karina is bilingual in Spanish and English and her work explores questions of hybridity, subjectivity and syncretism in cultural identity. Her bilingual short story ‘Spanglish’ was published by Asymptote in July 2016 and her short story ‘Oögenesis’ was short-listed for The White Review Short Story Prize 2016. She is currently working on her debut novel and is represented by Emma Paterson at Rogers, Coleridge & White.
