JÚLIA DE CARVALHO HANSEN

Júlia de Carvalho Hansen was born in São Paulo in 1984. In addition to being a poet, she is an astrologer and also teaches. Her most recent books are Seiva veneno ou fruto (Sap Venom or Fruit, Chão da Feira, 2016), whose central themes are plant consciousness and interspecies relationships, and Romã (Pomegranate, Chão da Feira, 2019), whose poems address desire, eroticism, and love. She lived in Portugal for several years, where she completed a master's degree in Portuguese Studies at the NOVA University Lisbon.
