JOSEPH OSMUNDSON is a scientist and writer from a small town in Washington State. He holds a PhD in molecular biophysics and is a postdoctoral fellow in systems biology at NYU. His writing has appeared in The Los Angeles Review of Books, The Kenyon Review, The Rumpus, Gawker, Salon, and The Feminist Wire, where he is an associate editor, among others. His chapbook, Capsid: A Love Song, was published by Indolent Books in 2016.
