John Fischer

John Fischer is a writer and marketing consultant living in Brooklyn. He has, on thin professional pretenses, commuted to Disney World, attended the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, and toured the convenience store chains of the tri-state area. His essays have appeared in Tin House, Guernica, The Sun, The Morning News, and the Random House Anthology, “Twentysomething Essays by Twentysomething Authors.” His essay, “The Last Place You Ever Live,” was a notable selection in 2013’s Best American Essays anthology, and his article, “An Unthinkably Modern Miracle,” was a 2014 Longreads feature.
