Jaden Schapiro is a writer and poet from New York. They graduated from Vassar College where they studied English and Art History. They won the 2025 Laura Adelina Ward Prize for their creative essay "Children of the Barcode." Their work appears in Biscuit Hill, Pamenar Press (UK), Paddler Press (CA), and elsewhere. They work part time as a senior writer at the New York City Food Policy Center.
