huiying b. chan is a visionary poet, cultural organizer, & educator born and raised on Lenape Land (Brooklyn, NY). huiying’s work centers race, gender, migration, & intergenerational healing. huiying has received fellowships from the Asian American Writers’ Workshop, Kundiman, Poetry Foundation & Crescendo Literary, VONA/ Voices, and DreamYard. huiying is currently an MFA candidate at Rutgers-Newark, working on a poetry manuscript that explores matrilineal legacies, self-remembrance, and unwritten queer and trans lineages. huiying's work is published in Best New Poets 2021, The Margins, Seventh Wave Magazine, and elsewhere.
