Born to a Japanese mother and an American father, Hana Widerman graduated from Princeton University with a degree in English and Creative Writing and won the James Richardson Award in Creative Writing. Her poetry appears in The Journal, The Washington Square Review, and The Poetry Society. She is an MFA student at Cornell University and an associate editor for EPOCH literary journal.
