Gyasi Hall is a writer and critic from Columbus, Ohio. Her essay "Eminem Drop-Kicked Me in this Dream I Had" was nominated for the Pushcart prize. She received her MFA from the University of Iowa, and her work can be found in Orion, Autostraddle, Guernica, Longreads, ANMLY, and The Iowa Review, among others.
