Diego Alfaro Palma

Diego Alfaro Palma (Limache, Chile, 1984) keeps notebooks and a garden. Valles sonoros: un ensayo en torno a la poesía, el viaje y la escucha (2023) is his most recent publication. He is the author of several poetry collections, including Las vías del agua (2022), Litoral Central (2017) and Tordo (2014), which won the Premio Municipal de Santiago and was translated into English by Lucian Mattison. Among his works of prose are the essay collections Trabajos voluntarios (2021), Mandarinas (2020) and the translation of Birds and Man by W.H. Hudson. He is currently the editor of scientific dissemination and travel chronicles at Ediciones Libro Verde Press and teaches creative writing online at Casa Contada. His free time is devoted to nature studies.
