Danni Shen
Danni Shen is a curator and writer based in Boston and New York. Most recently she was Research Associate at The Kitchen and Critic-in-Residence at MICA. Previous curatorial roles include at Empty Gallery in Hong Kong, Curatorial Fellow at Wave Hill, Curator-in-Residence at Residency Unlimited, and Guest Critic at NYU Tisch-ITP. Recent exhibitions include Beast, Chimera, Kin at the Hessel Museum of Art (2022) and Collaborative Survival at 601Artspace (2021). Shen is a contributor to various publications including BOMB Magazine, Art in America, Heichi Magazine, The Brooklyn Rail, Hyperallergic, Rhizome, onscreentoday介面 included, and is also a recipient of the Art Writing Workshop and the Art Critic Mentoring Program in collaboration with CUE Art Foundation x the International Association of Art Critics (AICA-USA). She is a graduate of the Center for Curatorial Studies (CCS) Bard College.
