Cynthia Gralla's books are The Floating World, a novel published by Ballantine, and The Demimonde in Japanese Literature, an academic monograph. She has also written for The Mississippi Review, Salon, Michigan Quarterly Review (forthcoming), Electric Literature, storySouth, Witness, and other publications. She teaches literature and writing at the University of Victoria and Royal Roads University on Vancouver Island.
