Choi Eunmi (b. 1978) studied history at Dongguk University and made her debut in 2008 with the short story “I Cry and Go,” which won Korea’s Contemporary Literature Newcomer Award. She has published two novels and three short story collections, and was recently awarded the 2021 Contemporary Literature Prize for her story “Here We Are, Face to Face."
