Anna Sandy Elrod is a poet and essayist whose work can be found in Pleiades, Threepenny Review, North American Review, and other journals. She is the winner of the 2020 Prism Review poetry prize, holds a PhD in poetry from Georgia State University, is co-founder and Editor in Chief of joint projects Birdcoat Quarterly and Ghost Peach Press, and teaches at Georgia Highlands College in rural Georgia. She currently lives with her husband, daughter, and many other small creatures in a cabin in the woods.
