Angela Townsend

Angela Townsend writes for a cat sanctuary, where she gets to bear witness to mercy for all beings. She is a five-time Pushcart Prize nominee and seven-time Best of the Net nominee. Her work appears or is forthcoming in Arts & Letters, Chautauqua, The Disappointed Housewife, Epiphany, Many Nice Donkeys, Paris Lit Up, Pleiades, SmokeLong Quarterly, and West Trade Review, among others. She graduated from Princeton Seminary and Vassar College. Angela has lived with Type 1 diabetes since age nine, laughs with her poet mother every morning, and loves life affectionately.
