Andy Chen was born and raised in New Jersey. He holds an MFA from Washington University in St. Louis and is the recipient of a Kundiman fellowship. His poems have appeared in the Denver Quarterly, and his reviews have appeared in Hyphen and the Colorado Review. He currently teaches English at John Burroughs School in St. Louis.
