Andrea García-Vargas is a Colombian American writer and digital strategist based in San Francisco with a degree from Columbia University in English literature and creative writing. Social issues are the main focus of her writing, and her work has been published in Vice, Upworthy, Mic, Refinery29, Model View Culture, Bustle, and Nerve. Andrea has also been heavily involved in anti-sexual assault activism, is the co-founder of Columbia Alumni Allied Against Sexual Assault, and sits on the board of a Fund for a Safer Columbia.
