Amye Day Ong (she/her) is a creative nonfiction writer whose essays have appeared in Image, CutBank, The Common, and elsewhere. Her essay “Chest Percussions,” for Image, was selected as notable in The Best American Essays 2018. She received an MFA in creative nonfiction from Columbia College Chicago and an MA in religion from Yale University’s Divinity School. Amye grew up in Kentucky and currently resides in Texas, where she is at work on a memoir-in-essays.
