Abdullah Al-Baradouni is described as one of the best contemporary Arab poets to enrich Arabic literature. He’s characterized as a radical politician who was fond of his heritage, a hero in a half-educated country. Despite being blind, he could see what people with sight could not and he didn’t hesitate to express his own views transparently through his work (which were not published during his life). Some of his published poetry collections include From the Land of Sheba, On the Path of Dawn, and The City of Tomorrow.
