A.J. Jacono is a proud Manhattan native who has been writing ever since he could hold a pen. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Best American Mystery and Suspense, Southeast Review, upstreet, and Lunch Ticket, among many other journals. He is the recipient of the 2019 Herbert Lee Connelly Prize, and is the founder of The Spotlong Review, an online literary and arts journal.
