A. Elizabeth Mikesell holds advanced degrees in creative writing and multimedia art and teaches writing to students in the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. She’s made a variety of impractical objects (interactive sculpture, online narrative experiments, a children’s book, other essays and short stories), all of which deal in some way with sad things and mean people as unfortunate systems of control. She lives with her family in New York City.
