Tamina Hauser
Tamina Hauser is a translator and editor based in South Korea. She first began her foray into the world of literary translation during her MA studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she was involved in translating and editing stories by Hong Kong writers, including Xi Xi and Liu Yichang. In 2020, she received the LTI Korea Award for Aspiring Translators for her German translation of a short story by Hwang Jung-eun and graduated from LTI Korea’s Translation Academy in 2023. As part of the 2022 ALTA Emerging Translators Mentorship, she worked on an English translation of Bak Solmay’s full-length novel Future Walking Rehearsals. Follow Tamina on Instagram @tamina__h.
