The Offing’s List of Lists: Summer

Summer’s here. That undoubtedly means different things to different people. To some, you’re in paradise; the sun’s out, the beaches are warm. To others it means humidity, mosquitoes, heat waves, and sweat. If you work a typical 9 to 5, you’re probably wondering, “What is this ‘summer’ of which you speak?”

Another indication of the season is the barrage of “Summer Reading Lists” making their rounds through the internet. The problem with this is, as the days shrink and temperatures climb, it may seem as though you will never get through all the great reads in such a limited period of time.

To make things a little bit easier, we’ve taken the liberty of highlighting some lists on the web that include The Offing staff, contributors, and other writers we admire (who we would love to publish!).
