Points of Return: The World Killer

A note on the text: Points of Return is a visual project composed from a number of pre-existing texts. In some cases, excerpts were re-written entirely. In others, the excerpts appear largely intact.

The text in this section, “The World Killer,” is drawn almost exclusively from Lucy Ives’ novel The Worldkillers from her 2014 book of the same title (Split Level Editions), with small contributions from Marc Augé (The Future) and Paulo Virno (Déjà Vu and the End of History). The excerpts from Ives’ original text appear here mostly unchanged, save for minor re-phrasings and re-ordering.

Reference information for both the text and images can be found in the Works section following the piece.
