Matthew Salesses was adopted from Korea. He has written for NPR Code Switch, The New York Times Motherlode, Salon, the Center for Asian American Media, and elsewhere. His latest novel is The Hundred-Year Flood (Little A, 2015). His previous books include Different Racisms: On Stereotypes, the Individual, and Asian American Masculinity (essays) and I’m Not Saying, I’m Just Saying (a novel).
